Well done to the Maguerite and her assistants on a very well organised race in aid  of the APA charity. Numbers were probably lower than anticipated due to a number of reasons including the rearranged 5k in Maree earlier in the week, the All-Ireland U21 hurling final and the Loughrea trialthlon the following day. Hopefully the race will grow from year to year as it is a very well organised event, with an accurate course, plenty of refreshments and a medal of participation for all who took part.
