Low-key Sinéad Treacy is a bit of a PRO’s nightmare as she is so modest about her achievements and never says anything when she goes and does something brilliant! We find out anyhow from the grapevine Sinead you will have to start wearing disguises!!
Yesterday at the IFAM Meet in Belgium, Sinéad got to wear a national singlet and lined up alongside Charlene Mawdsley, Sophie Becker and Nessa Millet against two Belgium teams. Sinead took the baton in 2nd place and handed off in the same position. The quartet performed admirably to set a fine time of 3:37 (sub-55s average pace).
Earlier in the event, Sinead came very close to breaking her own Club Record with a fine 56.41!
