It is one of the running highlights of the west or ireland calendar – certainly the best-attended race in Galway, with plenty of competition at all levels… and it's on tomorrow!!

For any of you who are doing the Streets of Galway on Saturday and are interested in meeting beforehand for warm-up/stretching, we plan to meet at 6.30pm.

The race starts and ends at the South Park, Claddagh at 7.30pm – so plan is to meet an hour beforehand at the grass pitch closest to the playground/dressing rooms. We can warmup there.

If you are definitely running it, can you drop a comment to this post to let us know – if we want to declare a team, we have to do so by 6.30pm at the race. So if we have 4 men and 4 women, we could enter 2 teams. No worries if not, we will have other occasions for team entries, e.g. Claregalway 10k the following weekend.

Michael will bring his box of Craughwell AC running vests in case anyone needs one!
