In perfect spring conditions, Matt Bidwell of Galway City Harriers continued his superb form with dominant first place finish in the Kilconeiron 5. Matt ran the second fastest time in the event's 3-year history and he was delighted with his performance. Behind Matt, Craughwell top guys Peter O'Sullivan and Martin Corcoran battled it out for second place. Being so near Craughwell, there were many Craughwell athletes in the mix – the full results for the first finishers can be downloaded from here.
The organisers were delighted with the great turnout which raised over three thousand for charity, and would like to thanks everyone that supported the event. Well done to everyone that took part.
