Update on juvenile training/activities June 7

Note been issued tonight at athletics training:-

Craughwell AC Update, 7 June 2007

Training fees

A reminder that training fees are due now for the Summer months. It is €15 per athlete for the summer months. If you had forgotten to pay training fees for Jan-Apr period (€20/athlete), please do so now. Our costs have risen now that we have to pay rent for use of the astroturf each week (over €1000 for our usage to end July). So it’s important that we collect the training fees on time from club members.

Unsupervised children at training sessions

Parents are reminded that the only children that are permitted on the school grounds during athletics training sessions are those participating in the training session. Any other children should be kept under close supervision by their parent while watching the training session. All children need to be kept in the area around the astroturf and track – it is too big a risk to have children playing unsupervised in the car-park. Note also, please don’t bring footballs or hurls to athletics training – there is nowhere to play other sports during athletics training. Finally if staying to watch the training, please stand close to the railings around the astroturf so as not to get in the way of athletes using the track.

 Directions to Sligo IT

As you enter the outskirts of Sligo town, stay on the dual carriageway – this is the northbound road sign-posted Donegal and Letterkenny. It brings you right into the town and onto a modern bridge. Almost immediately after crossing the bridge, there is a turn right sign-posted Enniskillen – take this turn, it brings you past a funeral home and right by Sligo IT Track after a few hundred metres.
