Congratulations to Sarah and Tom Finnegan who received a Special Achievement Award at the Galway Athletics Awards ceremony held in the Meadowcourt at the weekend in recognition of Sarah’s tireless work in coordinating the County Galway Senior Women’s Track & Field league team for the past 10 years and Tom’s work in officiating at the league events. It takes a huge amount of coordination to pull the team together with the logistics of athletes from different clubs and summer holidays and individual athletes own competition schedules. So well done Sarah and Tom!
