The Galway Community Games U14 Girls Cross Country team
who placed 4th in the National Finals at the weekend

The club’s athletes were in action last weekend in Scotland, Dublin and Limerick.

Sinéad Treacy represented the Irish Universities team at the annual international match with Scotland where she placed 4th in the 200m.

Evan Hallinan narrowly missed out on a podium spot when placing 4th in the U14 Boys Pentathlon at the National Championships in Santry with an impressive 1.60 in the high jump, 4.40 in the long jump, 13.16 in the 75m hurdles, 6.39 in the shot putt and 2:40.87 in the 800m.

Clodagh O’Meara helped the Galway U14 Girls to the podium in the National U14 Cross Country Relay held in the University of Limerick where the team won the pewter medals when placing 4th.
